Glenn Wagers

Glenn William Wagers died Oct 31, 2023 in Bigfork, MT, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born October 28, 1954 in Scottsbluff, NE to William Glenn and Eleanor Clair (Corbet) Wagers. He graduated from Kearney High School in 1972, and was awarded multiple scholarships. He then served a two year mission in Indonesia for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended Brigham Young University, and graduated with a BS and MS of Accounting in 1980. While there he met his first wife, Stacey Coltrin. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1979. After their divorce, he married Gail Marie Duncan in 1994, and was later sealed to her in the Chicago Temple. Glenn was a CPA and tax accountant. He was an avid genealogist, and spent large portions of his life researching his family history. He also loved children. He enjoyed card games and board games, trains, and spending time with family. He was a member of the local train club. He particularly loved spending time at the Corbet family farm. Glenn is survived by his first wife and their daughters Alice Wagers, Rachel (William) Baumann, Mary Wagers, and 4 granddaughters. He is also survived by his second wife and their son Seth. Additionally, he is survived by his father William Wagers, sisters Ellen Geist, Angela Lindholm, Sherry (Mark) Johnson, Crystal Verdenburgh, and brother Jerry (Mary) Wagers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Wagers and stepmother Donna (Hoffman) Wagers, as well as three brothers in law.
