Served 10 years in the US Navy Submarine Service then continued working for the Dept of Defense at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as an Electrical Design Engineer until my retirement in 2008.
Since our retirement we have vacationed in over 45 countries on 6 continents, as well as 40 of the 50 states. Our most favorite countries are China for the people and Tanzania for the wildlife. We can stay with Chinese friends in most major cities in China now. I have learned to speak Chinese which has been my biggest accomplishment since retirement. So cool to watch a lion climb a tree!
We volunteer at an Equestrian Therapeutic Riding Center which uses horses to improve the lives of people with special abilities!
